Shipping policy

Delivery Areas

Rush Security delivers across New Zealand, including major cities, regional areas, and most rural locations. We currently do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Timeframes

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Estimated delivery times are:

South Island 2–4 business days
Rural addresses 3–6 business days
Note: Timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather conditions, or public holidays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated based on the size, weight, and delivery location of your order:
  • Standard delivery: From $6.99
  • Rural delivery: Additional surcharge applies
  • Large or heavy items: Special freight rates will be calculated at checkout
  • Free shipping: Available on orders over $200 (within New Zealand; excludes rural surcharges and special‑order items)

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to monitor your delivery status online.

Delivery Requirements

  • Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery, or you may nominate a safe place or allow authority to leave during checkout.
  • If no one is available and no instructions are given, the courier may leave a card to arrange redelivery or collection from the nearest depot.
  • Rush Security is not liable for loss or damage if the item is left in a nominated safe place as requested by you.

Undeliverable or Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address details, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept delivery:
  • A redelivery fee equal to the original shipping cost will apply for resending.
  • If you choose to cancel the order instead, original shipping costs will not be refunded, and a 20% restocking fee may apply depending on the condition of the goods.

Damaged or Lost Items

  • Damaged in transit: Please inspect your order upon delivery. If packaging or items are damaged, contact us within 2 business days with photos of the packaging and goods. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
  • Lost in transit: If your order does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us so we can launch an investigation with the courier. Claims for lost items are processed once confirmed by the courier company.
